Hibiscus Tea
Refined Sugar Free
RECIPE
Ingredients:
4 serves
6-7 hibiscus flowers
3cm cube ginger
1 tablespoon raw honey
1 lime, juiced
Method
Remove the stem and style from each hibiscus flower. Rinse each flower one at a time.
Bring 1L water to the boil. Place flowers and chopped ginger in a saucepan to boil for 5 minutes.
Strain liquid into a large serving jug. Add lime juice (watch the colour change!) and honey to taste.
Garnish with fresh mint leaves (optional). Serve as is or with ice to make iced tea.
