Hemp and Almond Toasted Granola

Ingredients

8 servings

1/2 cup Hemp Harvest oil

1/4 cup organic maple syrup

2 tablespoons unhulled tahini

1 teaspoon vanilla bean extract

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup flaked almonds

1 cup Hemp Harvest seeds

Fresh berries, to serve

Coconut yogurt, to serve

Unsweetened almond milk, to serve

Method

Preheat oven to 180ºC.


In a medium sized bowl, combine hemp oil, maple syrup, tahini and vanilla bean extract. Whisk together well and set aside.

In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, almond flaked and hemp seeds. Stir well.


Pour the wet mixture into the dry and combine until the dry mixture is coated. 

Pour the granola into a baking dish and spread out evenly. Place in the oven to cook for 15 minutes.


Remove from the oven and stir, spreading out evenly again. Return to the oven and cook for another 15 minutes.


Repeat this process one more time, cooking for another 10 minutes or until your granola is crispy and crunchy.


Remove from oven to cool for 10 minutes before serving. Serve with berries, coconut yogurt and a dash of almond milk. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
